Welcome

My name is Richard Salino and I make records for a living. I work out of Studio 1093 in Athens, GA, surrounded by the equipment that made the records I grew up listening to. Designed by Russ Berger and built by Jim Hawkins, the studio's abundance of natural light and flawless acoustics make it a truly fantastic place to make a record.

A drummer for as long as I can remember, I've been making sounds come out of speakers since 2005 when I built my own studio, Contrast Recording, in Boca Raton, FL. I spend my free time reading manuals and wondering how I can use equipment in ways it wasn't designed to be used.
